Yeah... I mean, there's no particular *need* to do it at all, and if most of us aren't interested, then fair enough. It just seemed to me it'd be something we could all do together, rather than splitting up to enjoy non-pop activities... but on reflection, we do split into subgroups anyway during the week, and some of those will probably be looking at other fandoms anyway.
