Can we do a round-up of how and when people are planning to get there?

I need dates and times and flight numbers (and airports!) for people who're coming early and needing to stay with me (I think only Noora and Bettina, but I don't want to forget anyone!).

Those of you arriving at Gatwick sometime on the Monday might well be able to travel onward together, so this would be a good place to announce your arrival time. How much pleasanter it will be to land in the welcoming arms of fellow Sparklers, yes?

Does anyone need a pick-up on Monday from an airport that is not Gatwick? If so, where and when?

And is there anything else I should know?

I'll be arriving at 10:15 on Monday at Gatwick. At least I think it's 10:15. Let's go with anywhere between 10 and 11, as finding my ticket to check seems like so much work ;)

From there I guess I'll hang out and wait for any Sparklers, and then get the train to Brighton.

I need a pick-up on Monday at Stansted!
My flight number is FR 2405 (the Ryanair flight from Memmingen) and I should land at 16:20.

And after Camp I'll be staying wíth you until Tuesday when my flight is scheduled at 12:05 from Stansted.

I'm flying into Heathrow on Monday and land at 16:55 and Riikka basically arrives at the same time.

If someone could pick us up that would be great, otherwise we'd get a bus to Brighton :) .

Two of my sparkly peeps are even now on the way to the railway station, so as to meet you (or at least be on the train which with luck you'll be able to catch!) at Gatwick. I hope the timings work out!

I'll arrive on Sunday at Heathrow, late evening (sorry about that!), 21:15 with the flight form Düsseldorf, LH 3388.

Arriving pretty late Thursday night at Gatwick, but I've already forced asked some people to pick me up from the train station. :D

I'm in London Saturday and Sunday before Camp - I'm not sure where it would be easiest to pick me up on Monday? I can go to Gatwick or anywhere else.

Looking at carfuls, I think it'll be easiest if you can get on the train to Brighton (it goes via Gatwick, so you may be able to co-ordinate with other Campers) - Beast and I are trying to work out which of us will go down by train with Bettina and/or Noora, and who will go via Stansted to collect Fleur. I don't think there'll be room in the car for five of us plus luggage.

It's a bit short notice, but could I actually stay with you Sunday to Monday as well? I'll be happy to join the train people on Monday.

Yes, of course! I suggest you get the train into St Albans (from St Pancras) at some point during the day, it's a better service than the one to Hemel. Or there is a bus from Victoria Coach station which is also very handy.

Which bus is it? I found one, but that takes two hours and I'd have to change at Heathrow. Or, I was just thinking that I could join Bettina at the airport when she arrives.

I looked up the Green Line bus but it doesn't seem to run on Sundays, sorry about that! You can certainly join Bettina at Heathrow if that works for you, and I'll collect you both from there - she's arriving a bit after nine pm and it looks as though you'll need to get to Terminal 1. It's probably simplest to get on the Underground (Piccadilly Line), although a bus may be cheaper.

Or, come up earlier on the train. The St Pancras-St Albans service is best.

Ok. Could I maybe send you a text message once I know when my train arrives? I'll still do some sightseeing and possibly shopping in London on Sunday, and I saw there's a pretty regular service. And in that case, can you give me your number? I think I had it saved in my old phone but that one broke shortly after Camp last year and took all my contacts with it.
