Camp: The Timetable 3. Other Fannish Activities

a) I'm sure we will fit in many games of Cards Against Humanity, and I will bring the Dixit/Pixit stuff if there is demand. Also ninjetti75's board and role-playing games.

b) Sparkly Dancing Boy Cookies, cooking and decorating. stellamira has agreed to take charge of the cooking, as she has a recipe, and after that, anyone who feels like it can participate in the personalisation of the ninjabread cookies.

c) Sparkly Lyrics Quiz, which I think bubbleforest was, er, volunteered to run—are you up for that? And trumpeterofdoom expressed a willingness to help compile questions.

d) The Bobblehead Adventures! At least, I think nopseud is going to bring marionettes. I suggest the small ones might be the most flexible, and if they have their strings, they can be posed 'dancing'. We must simply make sure that the bestringed SDBs accompany us on all excursions. I feel sure they will also be photographed making out in the shower, on the pool table, on the dashboard of the minibus etc.

Dammit. I don't think I have that miniature Lava Lamp any longer. There should be a baleful presence following them about.

e) Photo Scavenger Hunt, rikes to organise. This presumably needs a Final Deadline and a judging time to be set towards the end of the week.

There was some talk about new cards for CAH last year, did that happen? Or is someone still collecting ideas?

I can do some new ones, but I don't think there were any suggestions. It's easy to produce a couple of sheets of questions and answers, though, and shouldn't be too hard to find a printer locally who will print them for us. So, ideas wanted!

One of my gaming friends has donated his duplicate expansions to our Camp, so I'll be bringing the Sixth Expansion and the 2014 Holiday Pack to add to the collection. I don't have an exact count, but it's a combined stack around an inch and a half tall.

For NEW cards, assuming we want to stick with the Pop theme, perhaps references to various sparkly videos? I know there some lyrics in last year's set. Or possibly fanfic tropes, or even Camp itself? (I mean, it's always going to be played by Campers, so that's legitimately within theme, right? Those creepy eight-inch-square doors all over Little Brampton's ground floor have to be worth SOMETHING, not to mention the oddities of various other locales and the awesomeness of Hill House. Ebeneezer Chapel could probably fuel its own expansion...)

And I would love to play some Pixit!

Re the scavenger hunt - I'm still working on details. I thought I'd introduce it at the dinner table on Fri or thereabouts, with a deadline on Thu. Will keep you posted.

I don't know whether it is possible to connect up whatever devices have been used so that we could have a look at everybody's pics? I should think there's a reasonable chance we could do that on Thursday evening, along with the slide show of the Adventures of the Marionettes!

Haha, um - sure? Because I'm super great at organizing and acting the host. :'DDDD But yeah, I can give it a whirl.

Also, I wanted to say that I bought the BSB board game a few years ago and figured I'd bring that along, it's a lot of fun! And NSYNC fans should have awesome odds, considering ihearthings_ii won the last time we played. :D
