Bedroom Configurations!

Right. What I've come up with is as follows:

Ground Floor

Room 1: sperrywink and msktrnanny*

Room 2: turlough

Room 3: _bettina_

First Floor

Room 4: pensnest and Beast

Room 6: rikes and saba1789

Room 5/7: bubbleforest and iconis
(I can't remember which number is the bedroom and which the bunk room)

Top Floor

Room 8: nopseud and R
Room 11(?): fleurrochard

Twin rooms:
chalcopyrite and fadedsouls
adelate and ihearthings_ii
ephemera_pop and ninjetti75

I'm not sure which rooms you guys are expecting to use, so rather than decreeing which number you go in, I'll let you sort that out for yourselves. If it comes down to "who can get up the stairs fastest", so be it!

* I've put sperrywink and msktrnanny together on the grounds that I can't remember whether either of you and fleurrochard have met or not, but sperrywink and msktrnanny are LJ friends. However, msktrnanny and fleurrochard, if you want to swap, sort yourselves out!

I hope this works for everyone.

And note: there is the bunk room, and there's also (I think) a sofa bed in the upstairs lounge, so if anyone needs an alternative sleeping place, I think we're covered.

From what I remember the windows in some of the ground floor bedrooms were painted shut. If that's the case in Room 2 I would very much like to change to somewhere I can open the window. (I get claustrophobic if I don't have at least the possibility of opening the window.)

I've met both, but have no complaints against a room of my own! ;)
And in that case, the bed made up as a double, if possible. :)

I have no knowledge of whether or not you can open the window there, but the only rooms designated as singles are the two on the ground floor and one on the top floor, which I've put Fleur down for - if you and she want to swap, go for it.

Oh hey, small correction! I believe iconis and bubbleforest wanted room 7 (next to rikes and saba1789's room) and ihearthings_ii and I are on the top floor. I can't remember the number but maybe it was 9? To the left of the bathroom, regardless.

Also I managed to flake on this before, but we were going for separate beds - although if it's too late to change it, I'm sure we can move some furniture around ourselves. :)

Or if the large bedroom on the ground floor has windows that can be opened maybe I can swap with KC - unless she too wants to open the window of course :-) In any case I'm sure we can work it all out when we're all there.

It might be worth seeing if you can work out who's going to room where before you get there, simply so that everyone knows where to put themselves. But I'll leave you to get it sorted out whenever and however works for you.

Were you in the big bedroom on the ground floor last year? If so, do you remember if the windows were painted shut or if you could open them?

That's what I suspected. You're a darling!! I don't remember if the windows in the big bedroom were painted shut as well but I've just asked fleurrochard who I think was in that room last year.

I was in the big bedroom, and I *think* the window could be opened? (Not 100% sure, but I can't quite imagine that I never tried to air the room, and I think I would remember if that wasn't possible. So 99% sure?)

Shall we do it like that: the first one of us three (you, KC or me) to arrive at the house checks whether the windows in the big bedroom on the ground floor can be opened.
If yes, KC swaps with you, if no, I swap with you. Would that work?
