What if I want to register but don't know if I spend only the weekend or the whole time yet? Because I'm pretty sure that I'll have time for the weekend (I'll make time if I don't), but if my thesis doesn't go as planned, I'd feel very guilty for being away for a whole week. Not to mention my parents would rip my head off.
