Is there any way I could come just for a day visit? I'd love to come and hang out, especially as you're less than an hour away from me, but don't have the time to take a week or even weekend out to stay over :(

Well, we're arriving Friday afternoon (8th). Saturday and Sunday are the designated sparkliest days, and Mette is only here until Sunday afternoon. Monday we're probably lounging around recovering, maybe doing something local with a pub lunch. Tuesday most of us are going to Alton Towers, and Wednesday we're going to Chatsworth (for which I have a spare ticket, as they were running a 2-for-1 offer when I booked them). CJ is leaving Thursday, sometime, and everyone else is there until Friday.

So, pick your time. (Of course, you could come on Friday, and we could kidnap you and keep you for the whole week against your will...)

I think I'll head across on Monday then. I don't think I'd be able to come at the weekend unless I bring the fiance... maybe I should wait until we're married before I expose him to too much of the sparkly. Don't want to scare him away until it's too late afterall! ;)

Do you have a postcode for the cottage? I can't seem to find one on the website and shall need it for the SatNav.

Hee! I think meeting all of us would be an excellent test of character :-)

I'm afraid I can't find a postcode. However, it's right on the main road through the village, just over the bridge, so if you print out the photo from the website I'm sure you'll be able to find it. We did okay finding it when we went to check it out.

ETA: Ah! I R SMRT! The postcode for the pub next door to the house is DE56 0RR. That should get you there.

Me too! But I think I'll spare him, he may come out slightly traumatised, poor lad. Maybe next year? ;)

Awesome, thanks! I'll put that in my SatNav and hope for the best. It should take me an hour or so to get there (it's only 50 miles away), so with the help of Red Bull I'll be aiming to arrive 9-9.30-ish depending on what time I drag myself out of bed traffic and probably head back after the evening traffic. Is that ok? :)
