Camp Sparkle Photos

I should've posted this the minute I got back. Apologies to the person who asked me to make an announcement about it at Camp Sparkle itself, at which I failed like a failboat.

Please, do not post any pictures of Camp Sparklers, most especially associated with any names, either real names or LJ names, unless you know that it's okay to do that. And by know, I mean, 'have explicitly asked for and got permission from everyone in the photo'. It can be a very sensitive issue for people, with serious real-life comeback for them if they get linked to popslash in places that could be seen by an employer, etc.

If anyone wants to share CS photos, it's probably best to put them up locked on Photobucket, and then give access permission to CS attendees who want to look at the photos.

Maybe we could leave comments here telling if it's okay or not? For me, if you want to post a picture of me, that's totally fine. :) So all of you won't have to ask me separately :)

I thought about suggesting that, but I didn't want people to feel they're under pressure to give permission if most people are okay.

Comment leaving/permission giving optional :D In any case, I was about to do a post saying it was fine and then figured people might see it here better when they read the post. :)

I know some people don't want photos of them tagged on FB - no one outside Camp Sparklers should see the photos (and really, that should be given), and probably won't, but it still shows up in a person's profile as 1 photo tagged of so-and-so and that's not good.
