I think in previous years the idea of having specific topics to discuss has worked very well for us. How about some suggestions for things we can talk about?
Well, there's certainly "How Has Fandom Changed Since Camp Began?", since all the SDBs have done other projects in recent years, not to mention staying current with Backstreet's activities.
I've always enjoyed the writing-side-of-fandom discussions, although it's also been covered semi-thoroughly in Camps past. Maybe something like "How Are The Stories You Like To Write & The Ones You Like To Read Similar, And How Are They Different?" I know some people are nearly the same in both respects, and some span vast gulfs, so I bet there could be discussion there.
Perhaps a writing technique discussion? Something like how one goes about world-building...or maybe how we go about our SeSa assignments! That's certainly Popfandom appropriate, heh.
Uhhhhhhmm, I'm kinda fixated on writing as a topic now...I'm sure there's other Sparkly Things we could discuss, too!
These are the topics we had for discussion last time. I think I missed some of the discussions, so I'm not sure if they all got used. Or maybe we could resuse some, for fresh ideas and new faces :-)

Eras - which are the hardest to write in? most fertile?
Tell everyone about the story you've always wanted to read, and why someone should write it.
How to get people to write more stuff, dammit!
Writer topics - Challenges, yea or nay? - Writing process. - Finishing what you start. How many do you started v. how many do you finish. Do you delete unfinished stories? Do you ever give up on stories?
Reader topics - Installments v. WIP v. single posting. - Labels on stories. What's useful, what do you want to see? Pairings, summary?
