I've had a go at a preliminary timetable. Comments, suggestions, requests etc, please. I'm perfectly happy to rearrange, and will repost a revised/finalised version when you've had your say.

Does anyone have requests for footage? I think we should watch Nick Carter's DWTS, possibly even in conjunction with Joey's and Lance's DWTS, which we have not looked at in a long time. What say you? When looks like a good day?

nb we're looking at somewhere a bit fancy for Afternoon Tea, but it won't be a lunch substitute as they don't start serving until 1530, so perhaps we can treat it as a dinner substitute instead.


I don't know if we want to timetable such things as the Games, what do you think?

Once we have firmed up the timetable of activities (as far as possible, since the weather will almost certainly have a role in deciding things), I'll put up a cooking schedule post.

This all sounds great! As for Sunday's trip I think it might make sense to see both if they're so close to each other. :)

R injured his knee a few weeks ago, and it's being unfortunately slow to heal up, meaning it might or might not be okay for Wales. If everyone wants to go to Portmerion on Sunday we'd need the minibus and both cars and it might be a bit hard on him after doing the drive to Wales on Friday. Possible options would be to put either you or Julian on our car insurance so that one of you could drive our car over there, or to look into hiring another larger vehicle for the day.

And I think we can probably do Portmerion and the gardens in the same day. You can't go inside most of the buildings at Portmerion, except for a few shops and places to eat.

ETA: Actually, maybe it would be better to swap Portmerion for a non-weekend day? It's likely to be pretty busy at the weekend, especially if the weather is nice.

Re: Snowdon

I remember that last year we were talking about a day trip to Chester. We could have that as a back-up plan if the Snowdon weather forecast is not promising.

ETA: Or even as an alternative. The Snowdon train fare is £30, and not everyone might be keen to spend that. I guess we could poll? A poll is probably a good idea anyway, if we want to get the group booking discount for Portmerion.

I'm leaving early on Wednesday morning so no Snowdown for me this year either (on the other hand I don't need to remember and pack warmer clothes :-) and no afternoon tea. I'm really looking forward to the other activities however. (I'm totally taking a break from my usual strict Who-in-order viewing and watching The Mask of Mandragora this week so I'll be properly in the mood for Portmerion!)

I would love watching everyone's DWTS stuff! I think I've seen a dance here or there but not anyone's entire run :)

As for the party, I've been thinking about themes and not been particularly successful but maybe a pyjama party would be fun? Dress code could be all low key/comfy but could also be fancy with a night gown or whatever. We could still do make up/hair (braiding each other's hair!!!!!!!!) and I guess food could be all kinds of easy finger food and snacks? We could even have cheesy pj party games? And of course there should be dancing. To boyband music. Just a thought I had.

-Photo slideshow to celebrate Camp #10, which I think could be playing while we're preparing and having pre-dinner drinks on Sat

-Prizes for last year's photo scavenger hunt winners, and a new challenge

-If I have time, a mini quiz about previous camps! (party on Sat?)
