Who would like to cook dinner for us at Camp Sparkle this year? There'll be 13 of us, including three vegetarians and one gluten-free person.

Schedule outline so far:

Friday
Pen (pies)

Saturday
CJ (spinach/ricotta cannelloni)

Sunday - architectural walk, No. 1 Royal Crescent
Sperrywink (chicken parm?)

Monday - glass baubles, afternoon tea
We'll be having afternoon tea around 4pm, so perhaps no need for dinner, unless somebody wants to make something light?

Tuesday - spa
Turlough (mango chutney chicken or halloumi tikka masala)

Wednesday - Stourhead
Saba (rice bowls)

Thursday
Leftovers and takeout?

Please sign up in the comments, and let me know if you'd prefer a particular day. :)

If someone has a recipe I can follow, I can cook something on Sunday when everyone is out doing the architectural walk? I have no ideas of what to cook, but I can follow a recipe...

If no one has a better idea, I think I could do spaghetti and sauce- meat or veggie (and gluten-free pasta for Turlough).

Spaghetti and sauce sounds like an excellent plan. Possibly, as we have two vegetarians among us, you could do something veggie, and maybe offer something like chopped-up chorizo that the carnivores can add if they want?

I was thinking chicken and eggplant parm? If people are into that. I can definitely make that- I've at least made chicken parm.

And then like green beans or something for veggie.

I think either is fine. Might depend on what people want to eat? I've never had quorn, so I'm not sure what it tastes like.

Oh, no, exactly. I just wasn't sure if the taste would go with the tomato sauce and cheese. I know the eggplant does.

As a Quorn eater, can confirm you can just replace a chicken breast with a fake-chicken fillet and it’s all fine!

I can do Tuesday dinner. If we have a working oven this year I can do Chutney Chicken since I think most people like that one.

turlough: bowl with chicken & rice with chopsticks ((other) FOOD!)

I can bring both recipes and then you can all fight over which one I should cook :-)

In that case, yes it looks like you'll get that halloumi tikka without having to fight for it ;-D

One of the food trucks close to work offers them and they're really nice and should hopefully not be too hard to recreate :)

I can minion, and I can also bake my chocolate cake! (Given a working oven. Or an oven thermometer like last year.)

I think it would be best to do a Big Shop on Friday, so if the cooks for Sat and Sun can prepare lists, that will be ideal. Of course, they have the option of heading to the supermarket on Saturday if necessary, but I'm sure we can all find more fun stuff to do.

I'm just about to go to bed, but perhaps tomorrow I'll start a list of 'what do we want to have on the shopping list!'

I will happily minion and chop things! Can also make a dessert — GF fruit crisp?
Just checking— we’re not having a particularly ~fancy party~, right? Makes sense as we’re so few this year, but wanted to confirm for packing reasons!

Poor Jenny! You get down with your bad self and blow all the glass in a fluffy boa! (That sounded vaguely wrong)
