Admin Post: Camp Sparkle 2020

We are going to Yorkshire!

Woodlands House, Giggleswick, is booked for the week commencing 19th June. This house appears comfortable, pleasant, and big enough for however many of us show. It's not too expensive, and as Camp has been slowly shrinking, we figured it would be best not to go for one of the more expensive options we looked at. It's a new location, so you can entertain yourselves (perhaps) by searching for entertainments in the vicinity so we can develop a plan nearer to June.

I know that not everybody could make this week (or the week after), and if the date means you can't come, we're very sorry and will miss you A Lot. For those who just need plenty of advance notice, I hope this is enough!

In our searches, we have found a place which looks quite fabulous - so if we can get 18 Campers another year, wouldn't it be nice to try out this place!

Even though it doesn't work out for me to be there...I just love looking through the houses you manage to find for Camp Sparkle. Just fabulous!

Hey, I have a somewhat Camp-related favour to ask - can I use your address for two handbags that I'm ordering online, and then you could bring them to Camp? Cath Kidston bags are hard to find from places that actually ship to Finland, and I am so weak for a good floral print. :D:

Of course you can have them sent here - no problem. I think we actually have a Cath Kidston shop in Norwich, but that only helps if you had a couple of extra days before or after Camp and could visit....

Yeah, I was just thinking if this will finally be the year! We'll see once it's time to actually book flights.

And thank you! An actual shop sounds lovely - however I am mostly trying to score a few bags on sale or second hand as I find them quite pricey (though the one bag I have has been very durable and worth the almost full price I paid for it).

That attic room has a BATHTUB (in fact I counted five tubs in the house which for a tubless Finn is A++++++++++).

Wow. The house looks absolutely amazing. What a view! I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to make it this year either, but I have asked for time off from work just in case. It'll come down to finances for me, but I do hope I can make it.

If I do, I will definitely be taking a hike on that hilltop we see on the other side there though. :p Even if it means having less space in my suitcase because I have to bring extra shoes and clothes. Because it would totally be worth it!
