Camp Sparkle Transport Post

Hi folks!

It'd be really handy for the sake of my nerves scheduling, to know how you'll be getting to Camp. For those who'll be wanting my transport services as usual, can you please comment with arrival and departure times for your flights (and of course details of which airport you'll be arriving at) - even if you've told me already, put the details here so I have everything in one place.

If you're coming in to Birmingham or East Midlands, it'll be useful to have that information here as well; and, if you're planning on driving yourself or coming by train, please comment with those details too! (It'd be handy, probably, if one or two other people are coming by car—definitely useful to know.)

Should one need to go to Stansted instead (because of a huge difference in cost OMG) what time would one need to be there?

Also, I realise I am a giant pain in the ass. :/

The latest landing time for those arriving at Stansted by plane is 11.10, but obviously they'll need to emerge. If you could get there by around 11.30? I *think* we'll get there at about midday, but we might be a bit early, and it'd be good not to have to wait. It's a lot more fun travelling to Camp with lots of other crazy people, I must admit!

I can get there for either 10.45 (which requires averyearlystart) or 11.45 (which would be more prefered), however if you want me earlier, I can do earlier. It would probably be best if I book my train tickets soon-ish, have found a spiffy deal. My other query would be, what time do you think we would be getting to Stansted on the way back? I shall book open ended tickets but I like to reserve seats when I can.

I should think 11.45 would do quite well, assuming that the train station is actually at the airport? (I've never noticed it!)

On the way back, we'll be there by, um, lunchtime, but I'm not quite sure whether that'll mean twelve o'clock or one, I'm afraid. A couple of people have a flight at about 1530, so I assume they'll need to be checking in by 1330; and I think a couple will be mooching around the airport for quite a while before their flight, so you'll have company if you pick a train a little bit later rather than earlier.

The train I will be on does state "Stansted Airport" so I think it's a safe bet that it is somewhere in the general area. I've flown from Stansted before so I know the general layout, though I'm sure there will be directions or a kindly person to direct me. 11.45 it is then.

I'm not entirely fussed when I get back to Cromer, so I will book a train in the area of about 2pm I think. :)
