Hey, Gang.

This is a question for those of you who attended the first Camp Sparkle, in Ludlow.

I'm still trying to recreate the look of the cottage for Sparkly CRACK's gameboard. Several generous people either sent or re-posted their pics for me, and I massively appreciate that, but unfortunately, there was only one picture of one bedroom in the entire lot!

So, I ask those of you who attended:

What did the walls & floor of the bedroom you stayed in look like (color, pattern, whatever)?

Which bedroom was it? (If you happen to remember the room #, that's awesome, but I can figure it out from "at the top of the stairs from the lounge" or whatever.)

And any other specific details you can remember would help too, like "had a fireplace between the two beds" or anything of the sort would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks So Much for any help anyone can provide!

(And oh yeah, one other question: Where the HELL was that mini-foosball table? Near the laundry? I failed to put it on my map...)

See Y'all in a few weeks!!!

MY bedroom was the one over the lounge. Standing at the door looking in, there was one window on the left. I don't remember the wallpaper or anything (I think they were pale walls, though), but there was one double bed, and a couple of bedside tables. I *think* there was also a chest of drawers and wardrobe on either side of the door, but I'm not 100% sure. I do know it was the only place in the house you could get a wireless connection, which has to be good for some kind of card. :-)

Our bedroom was downstairs near the kictchen. Enjoy this probably extremely incorrect picture I just drew off the top of my head!

Looking at that picture, there was another bedroom to our left. I don't remember many details, but we did have a shower cubicle right in the middle of the room, and the glass walls weren't even frosted! The hell? But being Finns we weren't too traumatized. :D

I am now imagining the foosball table as some sort of perabulatory mystery that slunk around the house at night while no one was watching. JSYK.

I and Pen shared the small bedroom behind the kitchen. I don't remember the wallpaper or anything but it was really tiny, just a big double bed and enough space on each side for a small table. The ceiling had open timbers I remember because I hung my clothes over one of them.

I see there is a Suspicious Comment from our own dear [livejournal.com profile] rikes. Dear me. What *are* you up to???

I don't remember any useful or interesting details about the room [livejournal.com profile] turlough and I shared, it was as she described. The other downstairs bedroom had a shower in one corner of the room, for some reason.

HEEE! Yes, yes it does. *makes note to edit laptop card appropriately*

Not only was it the only room, but you pretty much had to sit on the bed, too :-)

That was the room at the top of the stairs, that had a second door leading into the tiny "bedroom" with the sofa-bed, right? Was that the room with the two little steps down into & back up out of it, with the "Mind Your Head" signs?

I think so. I'm pretty sure I remember steps down into it.

I wouldn't say it was compact so much as it was damned cramped ;-D

I'm afraid I don't remember what kind of floor it had at all.

(I'm really looking forward to seeing you all!)

Oh so that's why it's screened? It's not telling me I'm being suspicious. :D So Tinypic is blacklisted by LJ? SIGH.

Psst - I am sure you communicated with me about transport a while back, but could you stick a reminder on the Transport post so I know if/when I'm collecting you from where? :-)

At a guess, probably [Unknown site tag] would have to take, er, whatever action is appropriate to Un-Suspicious you. Very odd!

It's a new feature to fight spam. Rather hastily implemented though.

I think we had hardwood floors! White walls, and the bedspread was blue or lavender-y.

Good Lord, a News post where most of the comments are about films. How irritating is that!

Anyway, I think I de-suspicioused your comment... Somehow I don't think this new anti-spam feature has been thought through.
