(4) Here we observe that there seems to be some difference of opinion as to the spelling of Lyn/Lynn's name. Your faithful amanuensis should, in her role as—ahaha—editor of this fic go and look up the correct version, but hey. Nobody's paying me for this.

(5) This sentence brought to you by the Trickyfish Appreciation Society.

(6) Your faithful amanuensis cannot but feel that there is something amiss with this word, and yet she has been quite unable to distinguish what, exactly, it might be. Cherry? *iz baffled*⁽¹³⁾

I have sung that song, more than once, along with other campfire classics like The Ball Of Kirriemuir, and The Wild Pervert Song. The copious quantities of alcohol that were being consumed at the time have fortunately wiped my memory of everything bar the chorus.

[1] It's actually 'Fuck a wallaby', but we were generally singing it in a hired college rooms or on campsites^[2], so at the time it seemed like 'Shag a wallaby' would be less distressing to passers by. On reflection, it probably didn't help as much as we thought.

[2] I bet it's a lot more surprising to people that I've ever gone camping than that I know some of the words to Bestiality's Best.

Both the versions I have since discovered quote it as "shag" not "fuck", for whatever reason. By 'eck, it goes on a bit!

For the Mysterious Word [6], I'm fairly certain it actually reads "hussy", with a rather excessive amount of curlicue preceding the H and affecting the U, making it look more like an E.
