Brighton Tickets and Final Price for Camp

So, I've been trying to get Visit Britain to tell me about their joint Pavilion/Sea Life Center tickets. Unfortunately, they're still waiting for them to come from the printers, and they don't know what the price will be until the tickets arrive (???). They're already overdue by a couple of weeks, apparently, and they don't know when they'll show up, although hopefully it will be next week.

The good news is that there's no need to buy the joint tickets in advance, or to buy them in any minimum number. And this year they're also going to have a triple ticket for the Pavilion, aquarium and a ride on the Brighton Wheel. I'm going to call next week and see if I can more definite news. I won't do anything about buying Sea Life Centre tickets until then.

Anyway, in view of the delay, I'll be calculating the final prices for food/accommodation in the next day or two, and sending them out to everyone.

Random, but does the house have wifi?

I might actually have to break my intense dislike of webcams if it would be possible to schedule a skype call, or something.

I have no webcam, and arranging schedules will probably be hassle-tastic, but I =DO= have a mic and would dearly love to say "Hi!" to everyone and at least hear all your voices, even if I can't see your faces (much less see you in person, *sniff*)

Ummmm....I also have Absolutely No Idea what I would need to do to make that happen? Software-wise? I'm Ninjetti75 on AIM and sometimes chat with Noora, CJ, and JM...would that suffice, or do I need to download something new? (WTF is a Skype, besides "a program that lets you live-chat"???)

Also also, you should be receiving a package in the near future, if it hasn't arrived already. ;D
Sadly, I don't think I could mail foodstuffs through international post and customs, so I'm afraid there's no American Junk Food in it. Y'all may have to convince Kim to bring another bag, like I normally do!!!

The package arrived today!

Skype is a free program for making internet phone calls. You just need to download and install it, then you can chat with people so long as you have a a microphone and speakers.

Unfortunately, Kim wasn't able to make it either, in the end, so we'll be sadly lacking in junk food this year. :-(

Oh, No!

..It's going to be the first American-free Camp Sparkle, how sad! (We'll just have to count Jenny, see if you can make her accent revert, heh.)

And I shall have to investigate Skype then, and see what we can come up with. It'll be good to make SOME contact during Camp, even if I can't actually bethere.

Have you investigated the DVDs yet, or are you waiting until Camp? ;D
