Suggestions for places to visit. I'm going to leave out (most of) the things we visited last time. And please, if you have been looking at possible options in the vicinity and have something to add, do mention it now.

There is Llanberis , with the Welsh Slate Museum, the Electric Mountain (hydroelectric power station), and the rack-and-pinion railway to the visitor centre at the summit of Mt Snowdon. We had a trip to the Slate Museum and Electric Mountain last year. If anyone wants to do the Snowdon trip, we will need to book tickets in advance and take our chances with the weather.

There is also Llandudno, where I assume we will probably go for Afternoon Tea again. There are various attractions in Llandudno, so we could probably spend quite a bit of the morning there and have our Tea as a late lunch as we did before.

I'm always up for a castle or two. Preferably at least one with interiors to marvel at as well, and not just walls.

The gardens sound lovely too, provided that the weather is not horrible.

Definitely voting for going back to Llandudno for shopping & afternoon tea!

Castles Conwyn and Penrhyn, Plas Mawr and the Hidden Gardens (as well as Mt Snowdon, as I said in my previous comment to CJ). And of course Llandudno and afternoon tea!

I'm still the only one who wants to go to Portmeirion it seems :-)

Definitely want to see Plas Cadnant, and Conwy Castle and Plas Mawr both sounds interesting - and could be visited on the same day.

Also count me in with the people who wants to go to the top of Snowdon! AND tea and shopping in Llandudno!

I've been to Conwy Castle before, so I don't need to go there again. I've seen Caernarfon Castle from the outside, but wouldn't mind going there again.
